Knew it'd be bright, but this is almost over the top for being bright. Its extremely high power. Very cool though. Roll Tide.

I didn't expect much for the price and still came away disappointed. The lights are really bright so it does have that going for it but obviously the main purpose of buying this is for the sports branding and on that it doesn't really deliver. I bought the Washington Huskies one and it is NOT a nice deep purple like you see in the picture, it's a very light and washed out purple. The logo and wording are ok I guess but the materials are so cheap it doesn't matter. It's the most plasticy, chintzy, fragile lamp I've ever seen, the thing couldn't weigh more than a pack of gum. I only paid $11 and that was waaay too much. This thing belongs in one of those claw machines at Chucky Cheese along with all the other cheap disposable junk that's always in those things!
Pros:
- light is really bright
- portable
Cons:
- insanely cheap materials
- washed out colors
- price (seriously, this thing should be $5 tops)
Bottom Line:
I just want to reiterate, I know the main purpose of buying this lamp is for the team color/logo, not for functionality yet I still say it's not even remotely worth it. To me the most telling part of any review is whether or not you'd buy it again and I must say if I had a redo I would definitely steer clear. Oh and whatever you do, DON'T BUY THIS AS A GIFT, you'll look like a jack(rear end)!

This light is extremely small and is SOOOOO not a good desk lamp. It provides very little light and the batteries run dead very quickly and i do not have the option to plug it in. Plus its so lightweight its always falling over whenever we try to adjust it. It would make an excellent nightlight for a child but sucks as a desk lamp. Prepare for eye strain!

I purchased this lamp to go with other NC State things I purchased for my sons room. It looks larger in the picture but it is a cute addition none the less. A must for any State fan!!
